The Patch Page History
Our Story — How The Patch Page Began
Sometimes one event can spark something bigger than you ever imagined. In 2012, during the 40th Anniversary Camporama, a young man named Wesley Church was working at the National FCF Museum. That week, his passion for patch collecting was born! Wesley left Camporama thinking he had the complete event patch set. But curiosity struck — “What other sets are out there? And how can I connect with other Royal Rangers who love patch collecting too?” With that thought, the RR/FCF Patch Collectors Facebook Group — affectionately nicknamed The Patch Page — was created. What began as a small circle of friends quickly grew, bringing together collectors from across the country… and eventually, from around the world. Today, just 13 years later, our community has grown to over 2,700 members representing 60 different countries!

RR/FCF Facebook Group set up on September 9th by Wesley Church

In its first year, The Patch Page reached 201 original members

The group sponsored its first contest to create a new cover photo - Winner William Hurst

The group introduced TOPIC TUESDAYS, a weekly discussion question (#RRTopicTuesday)
The group sponsored its first patch design contest to help celebrate our 10th Year Anniversary - Jonathan Parades had the winning design.

Issued Two special "Patch Shark" Pins at the July 2022 National Camporama, 200 blue borders, 50 silver borders
