Patch Page Rules - English

1. Let Your Actions Reflect the Royal Ranger Code

As Royal Rangers, the Code has been instilled into all of us by vocal repetition. Apply this to all of your dealings on the page. Let your actions reflect all 8 points of the Code!

2. Keep Content Related to the Royal Rangers & FCF

This is not a yard sale or an FCF trading post. Please keep posts related to the history of the two ministries. If you feel it may be questionable, message an admin before posting.

3. Placing a Price on History

There is no Kelly Bluebook for RR/FCF memorabilia. The value of an item is determined by the buyer and seller. Just because you feel a patch is worth $5 doesn’t mean it’s wrong for someone else to sell it for $20.

4. Inviting Rangers to Join Our Group

Feel free to invite others to join our family. We only ask that they are over 18 and are Royal Rangers or affiliates. Membership requests from Boy Scouts or Canadian Police have been received.

5. Flooding the Page with Activity

Feel free to post, but to avoid flooding, limit to five posts per calendar day. Consolidate pictures where possible. Promotional listings from official RR National sites are allowed with Admin approval. Other such posts will be deleted per page criteria.

6. Labeling Your Posts

To avoid confusion or unsolicited questions, please label your post. (e.g., NOT FOR SALE OR TRADE, FOR TRADE ONLY, FOR SALE ONLY, IN SEARCH OF, etc.). This provides clarity and intent.

7. International Shipping

Members can choose whether or not to ship internationally. Some avoid larger costs associated with international shipping, as we have members worldwide.

8. Auction Bidding

Specify whether to bid privately or in the comment thread (not both). If private, do not announce the highest bid before the auction ends. No reserve prices. Bidding must be in at least $1 increments.

9. Linking Ebay Auctions & Other FB Page Auctions

Please do not link Ebay sales or promote other FB auctions. Announcing your intention to post items on Ebay is fine, but individual auction links should not be posted unless for OSAP.
